ITW3′s on hold for about another week until Jo finishes the Superman and Hellboy comic covers. The storyboarding’s complete. We are anticipating mid to late Jan for completion (in time to make CWT Hong Kong).
The web-novel THE DOLL is on hold for the time being as well. Presently TogaQ and Neko’s in talks with a couple of publishers to either license the rights for G|P’s finished novels and/or as well as work in the respective publisher’s magazines. Neither one of them can divulge details in the negotiation phase but this may impact some contents on this site as well as TogaQ/Neko’s ability to turn out ITW as quickly as they had wanted to in the near future. More on this later when things are made official.
Good luck to Asian distributors in their respective end-of-the-year Comic World shows in China and Taiwan.
Finally ~ here’s a gift-art of a rather melancholy Shinohara by Miyamoto Kano to Jo (done at this past Yaoi-Con). Another nice surprise we’ll let out early; Miyamoto-sensei will also be a guest artist in ITW3.
P.S. If you are a PLURKER (a favored Twitter-like social network in Asia) – both Neko and TogaQ’s on it. If you’d like to sign up to just occassional chat or feedback, it’d be appreciated. Although TogaQ is the only one who is bilingual. The other one, not so much.
I’d like to share one gift that’s simply too cute not to post. Angel (the one who doodled all of our SDs) made a Katsuya for me. His face is a little marker-smeared but it’s all good. I’d eat him anyway.
The pre-con orders will be packed this weekend and be on its way out first thing Monday, we promise. It was a bit challenging trying to locate our goods among a mountain of Ycon logistics and boxes. We will be emailing all orders sent an email confirmation as soon as it is sent.
And now, for a little sexy…. This Kagura was made by Jo two weeks before Yaoi-con as a present to the show’s 10th anniversary to compliment the Sakiyama that had been gracing the Yaoi-Con’s splash page for most of this year. We will update more in our Facebook on the Opening Ceremony photos taken of the 15 foot banner reveal.
